Poem: My Child, My Treasure

My child, my treasure, my jewel so bright,

A radiant star in the velvet night.
Whatever I become, whatever I do,
I’ll never forget to take care of you.

You’re the gem that my eyes can’t let go,
In the game of life, where hopes overflow.
Focused, I watch as you take your stride,
Towards joy, towards happiness, standing with pride.

The field of life is vast and wide,
With love and wisdom, I’ll be your guide.
If you heed my teachings, embrace what’s right,
Your future will shine with endless light.

For in those lessons, strength will grow,
Even in hardships, you’ll stand and know—
That life’s a blend of joy and pain,
But with faith and courage, you’ll remain.

When struggles come, as they surely will,
Remember the patience, the love instilled.
I bore the trials so you could stand,
Upright, resilient, with a steady hand.

Though sorrow may visit, fleeting and fast,
Joy and peace will surely last.
My child, my jewel, keep your heart pure,
In every storm, you'll find the cure.

For life is a journey, not always kind,
But your spirit's strength will never unwind.
And as you grow, may you always see—
You are a gift, and you’re loved endlessly.
