JUDGMENT DAY: Ogun APC Chieftains Storm Tribunal to witness Judgment

The Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management, Dr Iziaq Salako, the Senator representing Ogun West, Olamilekan Adeola and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tunji Akinosi have stormed the Isabo court venue of the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

Also, seen in the courtroom, is Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Abiodun’s Deputy.

The Three-man Panel, headed by Justice Hamidu Kunaza is set to deliver judgment on the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu against Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The politicians, who are all members of the APC, are in court in solidarity with Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Order of arrival Senator Adeola, otherwise known as Yayi, arrived at the court at 7:55 am, followed by the deputy governor, then Salako while they were joined by other aides of Abiodun, including commissioner designates and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Oluwatoyin Taiwo.

The presence of heavy security outfits was witnessed at the Isabo Court Abeokuta and the surroundings of the venue of the tribunal.

Many people including journalists were disallowed from entering the court premises.
