The Polytechnic Ibadan through its Board of Studies lay high premium on academic excellence. The academic programmes and regulations have been carefully drawn up to enable academic staff and student know what is excepted of them. The Polytechnic Ibadan runs mainly National Diploma and Higher National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in all of our Faculties. At present, there are five faculties namely: Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Financial and Management Studies and Business and Communication Studies.

ADMISSION ADMISSION INTO FULL TIME NATIONAL DIPLOMA, HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA AND POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION (A) FULL TIME NATIONAL DIPLOMA

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for Admission into the National Diploma Programmes of The Polytechnic, Ibadan for the 2019/2020 Academic session in the following Faculties: Faculty of Engineering. Faculty of Science. Faculty of Environmental Studies. Faculty of Financial and Management Studies. Faculty of Business and Communication Studies.

ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA

Candidates applying for the National Diploma Programmes must have attempted the 2019/2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a score that is not below 150.

Candidates that have made The Institution their 1st choice.

Candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of Institution to The Polytechnic, Ibadan are eligible to apply and are advised to do the change of institution with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The Post UTME screening is ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.

(B) FULL-TIME HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA

Applications are also invited from qualified National Diploma holders seeking admission into the Full-Time Higher National Diploma Programmes of The Polytechnic, Ibadan in the following Faculties:

i.    Faculty of Engineering. Faculty of Science.

ii.   Faculty of Environmental Studies.

iii.  Faculty of Financial and Management Studies.

iv.   Faculty of Business and Communication Studies.

(C) FULL-TIME POST HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA

Applications are also invited from qualified Higher National Diploma holders seeking admission into the Full-Time Post Higher National Diploma programme of The Polytechnic, Ibadan in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Studies.
