Update on 774,000 SPW Job Recruitment

Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Honourable Minister of State, Labour & Employment on Saturday, 18 July 2020 advised the general public to kindly disregard all messages directing people to go to NDE offices to register for the Special Public Works.

He said doing this will breach COVID-19 guidelines and that  it will not also allow the government to achieve its objectives of ensuring strict selection of not more than 1000 candidates per local government. However, the Minister concluded that the selection will be done from LGA to LGA, not in States’ NDE offices.
