Is Your Phone a 4G Network Compliant?

If you are MTN mobile subscriber to be 4G compliant, you must ensure your SIM Card is upgraded from 3G to 4G.

You can check the 4G network status of your MTN SIM Card by Texting 4G or LTE to 131.

If the response showed that you are on 4G network and your device is 4G compatible then check to be sure you have the right Proxy Settings on your Device or Smartphone, following the steps below:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Click More Network or Mobile Network.

3. Click Access Point Name.

4. Click MTN GPRS or MTN WEB.

5. Remove the Proxy IP address: 10.199. 212.2.

6. Remove the Port setting: 8080.

7. Then save and browse again.
